Peace of mind

With At Ease Homecare, you're always in control — choosing the right carer for you or your loved one.

We work with a broad network of self-employed carers, each offering their unique skills and experience. Many have backgrounds in healthcare, nursing, or elderly support. We encourage all carers to have DBS checks and appropriate training.

At Ease Homecare is an introductory agency. We are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). All carers are self-employed and contract directly with clients.

Our Policy

Safeguarding

The welfare of vulnerable adults is our top priority.
Although we act as an introductory agency and not a direct provider of care services, we take our responsibilities seriously when matching clients with carers.

We encourage all carers we introduce to complete a valid enhanced DBS check.

We encourage carers to undertake safeguarding training where appropriate.

We expect carers to treat all clients with dignity, respect, and compassion.

We promote a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Reporting Concerns

We take any complaints extremely seriously. If you have any problems please contact us directly and we will try to resolve your issues in a swift and professional manner.

For any criminal matters contact the Police.
Carers are expected to report any concerns they witness in the course of their work.

This policy is reviewed annually.

Recruitment and Vetting Policy

While carers are responsible for maintaining their own compliance, we have a basic vetting procedure in place to promote client safety.

Carer Onboarding Process:

We request confirmation of identity (passport or driving licence).

We encourage carers to provide proof of an enhanced DBS check.

We request evidence of experience or relevant training where available.

We strongly recommend that all clients contact referees directly. All care workers on the platform will have provided two referees (of which one must be a UK resident).

We are not regulated by the Care Quality Commission but we encourage all carers we introduce to complete a valid enhanced DBS check.

Please note: As carers are self-employed, they are responsible for ensuring that their certifications and checks remain valid and up-to-date.

Quality Assurance

Flexibility: Clients choose their carers and contract with them directly.

Transparency: We make clear to clients that carers are self-employed and not employed by At Ease Homecare.

Support: We provide assistance to clients and carers during the matching process.

Feedback: We welcome feedback from clients to help maintain a high standard of introductions.

Continuous Improvement

We review client feedback regularly to improve our service and ensure the best possible matches between carers and clients.
